Mounties investigating fatal Highway 16 crash

TOPLEY, B.C. — Mounties in northwest B.C. are seeking the public’s help following a fatal crash near Topley.
BC RCMP say the crash occurred at around 4 a.m. yesterday on Highway 16 just west of Topley.
Police have determined that a west bound orange Dodge pickup truck left the highway and crashed, killing the female occupant and injuring the male occupant.
The investigation also revealed that the pair were driving from the Lower Mainland to Prince Rupert and are seeking any witnesses that may have seen the orange Dodge pickup on Highway 16 between Vanderhoof and Topley between 2 and 4 a.m. that morning.
