PRINCE GOERGE–A section of Victoria Street has been closed off to traffic to repair a broken culvert.
The street, south of Milburn Avenue has been closed since Thursday, Aug. 8, morning. The closure is attributed to a section of damaged pipe that was pulling soil and other material away from the location and destabilizing part of the road. The pipe and culvert are believed to have been installed in 1977.
Crews are currently working to determine the best way to fix the damaged area and will begin an operation to repair the culvert and the road.
