String of B & E’s have business owners on edge
PRINCE GEORGE — A string of recent break and enters to commercial properties around the city have business owners on edge. Over the span of a week, Prince George RCMP say there have been 17 reported incidents in a few areas around the community.
That’s prompting some to re-evaluate their security measures – and others, to breathe a sigh of relief that theirs seem to be paying off.
They happened on Robertson Road, Ogilvie, and Quinn streets. Thieves seemed to be specifically targeting cash boxes – but took other items too.
Luckily Bruce Williams from Rivers Edge Services says his business hasn’t been hit – and he attributes that to increased security measures he’s taken in recent years including video surveillance.
