WILLIAMS LAKE — RCMP in Williams Lake are investigating an assault that occurred early this (Aug.16) morning.
Cst. Jordan Gelowitz says at approximately 6:45 a.m. a man was assaulted by another man with a baseball bat near the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Oliver Street.
He says the victim suffered serious injuries and is receiving medical care.
