Police make arrest, recover over 50K in stolen items

PRINCE GEORGE — A big haul for the Prince George RCMP after they arrested a man on Friday.
Police say they arrested the 57-year-old after a concerned citizen reported he was driving a stolen vehicle near Highway 16 on Sykes Road.
The arrest was made at a residential property where they found five flat deck tow truck loads as well as a cargo van full of property estimated at more than $50,000 in value.
The stolen items included tools, vehicle parts, pet supplies, lawn mowers, a generator and vehicle tires and rims.
