First Director of Aboriginal Education announced for SD57

Pamela Spooner was appointed the first Director of Aboriginal Education in SD57. She has served as a Principal of Aboriginal Education in SD67 and as a Principal in the local Nusdeh Yoh Elementary school.

The City wants your feedback on their mobile app

The City of Prince George wants your feedback on their app. The online survey to review the app will provide residents with opportunities to rate current satisfaction levels on app features. The survey will be available until Sep. 13.

How often do you floss your teeth?

An online survey on flossing habits found that 45 percent of people have stopped flossing due to lack of time. One local dentist says that flossing everyday is imperative to good oral hygiene to prevent gum disease, plaque and cavities.

Cariboo Rocks the North and Save-On-Foods team up for charitable donation

Save on Foods and Cariboo Rocks the North teamed up to donate $12,100 to the BC Children’s Hospital. The money was raised during the second annual Cariboo Rocks the North festival.
