BC Transit announces achievements for 2018/2019

PRINCE GEORGE–BC Transit announced achievements in their 2018/2019 annual report, where enhanced transit services in the north were highlighted.
The report released by BC transit says that province-wide there was a six percent increase in ridership, with 57 million annual passenger trips–the highest growth since 2008/09. One of the achievements was the enhanced service BC Transit saw in northern BC, an effort at enabling residents of First Nations communities and local governments to travel safely in the region, with the launch of BC Bus North.
Another highlighted achievement was the roll-out of its real-time bus location technology, in six communities.
