Three Cougars announced to play in NHL Prospect Tournaments

PRINCE GEORGE–The Prince George Cougars Hockey Club announced that three players have been invited to upcoming NHL Prospect Tournaments.

Taylor Gauthier, Josh Maser, and Cole Moberg are the three prospects. Gauthier attended the Boston Bruin’s development camp in June and is one of the three goalies named to Boston’s roster that will play in the 2019 Prospects Challenge.

Maser will play for the New York Rangers as a free agent and Moberg with the Blackhawks. Both will play in the Traverse City Tournament from September 6th-10th. Moberg was drafted by the Hawks in the seventh-round, 194th overall, in the 2019 NHL draft.

The Cougars will unveil their pre-season roster tomorrow, Wednesday, September 4th, ahead of their 2019 pre-season schedule.
