It was a scene straight out of movie Friday afternoon at the intersection of 15th and Central.

Prince George RCMP arrested one male after an off duty RCMP recognized the stolen vehicle.

“I pulled up casually turning left behind a truck and I noticed a guy was acting a bit weird, a bit more so than I would see on a daily basis. Then a cop pulled up beside me and stopped and opened his door and pulled out his gun and put the car in front of me at gun point,” shared eye witness Leanne Cowan to CKPG.

“It took him a good minute to show his hands. By that time there was three other cops behind me and they kind of blocked me in the turning lane so I was just stuck there kind of watching. Then they got him out of the truck and walked him up the meridian beside me arrested and took him.”
