Eagles soar to overtime win over Spruce Kings
It was a back and forth tilt at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena Saturday night as the Prince George Spruce Kings hosted the Surrey Eagles for the 2nd time in as many nights.
The teams would each find the back of the net once in all three periods which forced overtime, but it would be the Eagles who would get the last laugh.
Just 29 seconds into the extra stanza Holden Katzalay would pot the game winner past Jett Alexander to lift the Eagles to a 4-3 win.
Jake McLean, Chong Min Lee, and Brett Pfoh all found the back of the net for the Spruce Kings in Saturday’s contest.
