Valemount woman killed in Highway 16 crash

PRINCE GEORGE–A 21 year old Valemount woman was the victim of a single vehicle fatal crash early yesterday evening on Highway 16 , by the Penny Access Road ,39 kilometres east of Purden Lake. The female passenger was airlifted to hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The 41 year old male driver ,also from Valemount ,was believed to have sustained minor injuries. RCMP believe speed and alcohol were contributing factors .
