Tourism PG CEO resigns after five and a half years
PRINCE GEORGE–Erica Hummel, CEO of Tourism Prince George (TPG) is resigning her position after five and a half years.
Hummel announced her plans to resign in order to begin a new chapter in her life.
In a press release, Tourism Prince George says, “during her time with TPG, Erica’s dedication has resulted in the growth and development of the tourism sector in the community and delivered tangible benefits to tourism stakeholders and industry partners. Underpinning the delivery of high quality campaigns and programs has been the continued growth in funding which has furthered our long-term sustainability and enabled the continued investment into marketing effectiveness and quality programming. Erica has led a dedicated team, each of whom play an integral role in the everyday running of the organization.”
Hummel’s last day will be Oct. 4th 2019. Sarah Kirk has been appointed as interim CEO until a new CEO is found.
