PRINCE GEORGE – Around the world, students left their classrooms and hit the streets to call on politicians to start doing more to fight climate change.
The same is being echoed in Prince George. Around 100 people protested in front of city hall this morning to show a united front against climate change.
Local environmental groups like Fridays for Future were joined by some UNBC students.
The goal was to be part of a consolidated front that’s taking part across the country starting today and continuing through next week.
