Prince George’s National team snowboarder Meryeta O’Dine is at the halfway mark between Olympic opportunities. After suffering a concussion days before racing at the 2018 Olympics in PyeongChang, O’Dine has been training harder than ever thinking about 2022. But, being an international snowboarder isn’t cheap, even with Team Canada funding. That’s why O’Dine is hosting her first-ever fundraiser Saturday at 6 from the Kinsmen Club. Local comedians will entertain the crowd after a buffer dinner, before the 22-year-old tells her story as she attempts to raise $25,000 for the season.
