Spruce Kings bounce back in Langley

Sep 22, 2019 | 9:00 AM

The Prince George Spruce Kings got back in the win column Saturday night in Langley as they battle the Rivermen.

Coming off the heels of a 6-2 loss to the Chilliwack Chiefs Friday, the Spruce Kings put together a great performance on the road 24 hours later.

With the game tied at 1 with under a minute remaining in regulation, the game appeared to be heading to the overtime.

However, Chong Min Lee has other ideas.

The goal vaulted the Spruce Kings to a 2-1 win and improved their record to 2-2-2.

They will conclude their lone 3 games in 3 night trip of the year Sunday afternoon in Coquitlam against the Express.

Coquitlam goes into Sunday’s game 3-1 on the season.

Puck drop is at 3:00 p.m.
