REGIONAL DISTRICT OF FRASER FORT GEORGE – Eleven parks within the Regional District of Fraser Fort George will be reviewed over the next year. The Board has approved entering into a contract with Lees and Associates.

The parks in question are George Hicks and Cedarside Parks in Valemount, Koeneman Park in McBride, John Dahl Park in Mackenzie, Giscome Portage, Kristian Winther, Harold Mann, Ness Lake Parks north of Prince George, McMillan Creek in the city, Berman Lake to the southwest and Wilkins Park in Miworth.

The review will look at the services currently available in those parks and here they could be improved.

The Regional District will also be taking public input as part of the process.

The hope is to have a report back to the Board at this time next year.
