Woman charged for threats towards local school

PRINCE GEORGE–A woman has been charged in connection to anonymous threats received by a local school and childcare centre earlier this year.
In early to mid-March 2019 the Prince George RCMP received several anonymous threats towards Polaris Montessori School and an independent childcare centre near the school. Immediate precautionary measures were taken at the time, in order to ensure the safety of the children attending both the school and childcare centre.
23-year-old Emily Holland, formerly of Prince George has been charged with four counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
Holland was arrested on outstanding charges and has since been released on bail she is scheduled to make an appearance in court on Nov.13.
