Timberwolves clawing for playoff spot in final month

Nine games down and six to go for the UNBC Men’s Soccer Team. The Timberwolves are heading into their final month of the season with playoffs on the mind. The problem is the final playoff spot in the Pacific Division of the CanWest is being contended for by four teams all within a few points of each other. A win by any team in the bottom four of the standings will significantly shift the playoff picture, making for an important final stretch. The men’s team resumes their pursuit of the playoffs this weekend when they host the UBC Thunderbirds, who have only suffered one loss this season, Friday night at 6 and Sunday at noon from Masich Place.
