Prince George provides feedback for new accessibility legislation
B.C’s Minister of Social Development and Poverty Reduction visited Prince George on Saturday.
Minister Shane Simpson made the trip to Northern B.C as part of his consultation tour around the province to seek feedback when it comes to the new accessibility legislation.
The two and a half-hour open house was held at Duchess Park Secondary School and allowed residents to not only provide their feedback but to also give their input on what needs to be included in the legislation.
“Probably the thing is I hear the most from people with disability is they want a job,” shared Minister Simpson to CKPG.
