UNBC Women’s soccer team shutout in Kelowna

The UNBC Timberwolves women’s soccer team played their first game of the weekend Saturday afternoon in Kelowna against UBCO.

UBCO would score the lone goal of the season and their first goal of the season in the 64th minute as they would earn a 1-0 win over the Timberwolves.

The loss drops the women’s team record to 3-2-2 on the season.

They will be back on the pitch Sunday afternoon in Kamloops against TRU.

Meanwhile, back in Prince George, the men’s team plays host to UBC in a re-match of Friday night’s contest.
