Firearms targeted in Summit Street B & E

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP received a report of a residential break and enter at a home on Summit Street yesterday (Tues), near the intersection of Ospika Boulevard and Rainbow Drive.
Sometime during the day, one or more suspects forcibly entered the home and removed a large gun safe that was secured to a wall.
Three hand guns and one long gun were secured in the safe at the time of the theft. Investigators believe the residence and the safe were targeted.
Police say the curlprit or culprits were likely in the residence for a considerable amount of time while they worked to remove the safe.
