UNBC places second in Maclean’s rankings

PRINCE GEORGE–High marks once again for the University of Northern BC, placing second behind Mount Allison, in the Primarily Undergraduate category of Maclean’s Magazine’s annual ranking of Canadian Universities.

This marks the sixth straight year UNBC has finished in the top two in its category and 12 years in the top three.

President Dr. Daniel Weeks, says “UNBC continually strives to be a University that transforms lives and communities in the North and around the world.”

In the student satisfaction survey, Macleans once again gave the university strong grades in promoting Indigenous visibility, mental health services, and steps to prevent sexual assault .Significant gains were also made in UNBC’s national reputation ranking, in categories such as innovation and developing leaders of tomorrow.
