Jobless Numbers Are Up Again
The jobless rate continues to climb in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE–The numbers out of Stats Canada today show the national jobless rate dipped to 5.5 percent last month, down from 5.7 in August,thanks to the economy adding about 54-thousand new jobs , most of them full-time . BC’s jobless rate also dipped to 4.8 percent in September, from 5 the previous month . A different story in Prince George however, with the unemployment rate climbing to 5.7 percent last month from 4.9 in August.
