Therapeutic riding is more than Horseplay
Prince George – For almost thirty years the Prince George Therapeutic Riding Association has been putting smiles on individual’s faces by getting them on the back of a horse. With the support of the community, the program continues to make a difference for those with a disability.
Chase Caron is one of the thousands of participants in which the program has made a difference. Riding a horse has increased his self-esteem.
The Prince George Therapeutic riding program was the first of its kind in the north. It was created by parents to give individuals more physical, mental and emotional support.
Each year the program enriches 52 riders and provides them with the magical feeling of riding a horse.
