PRINCE GEORGE – It’s that time of year once again when turkey’s find their way in Canadian kitchens.
It’s Thanksgiving in the country and the traditional turkey dinner is on the menu for many a family, as is the ham in others.
The trend this year is the 100 Mile Diet, where food grown with a hundred miles of the city is popular. So root vegetables, like potatoes, carrots and turnips are grown in this region. Also, turducken seems popular once again. But, the earliest settlers had entirely different meals in thanks.
