UNBC women’s basketball team drops close pre-season tilt with McGill

Basketball season is just around the corner for the UNBC Timberwolves and both the men’s and women’s teams are out on the road this weekend for pre-season contests.

The women’s team took to the court Friday night and lost a tight contest to McGill 64-55.

They are back at it Saturday against Concordia.

Meanwhile, the men’s team is in Manitoba for a pair of games against the U of M Bisons.

The Timberwolves basketball clubs will open up the 2019-2020 season on November 1 when they welcome UVIC.
