PG Golf and Curling Club host open house ahead of 19/20 curling season

The ice is officially in and curling season is set to get underway, and Saturday residents of PG had the chance to try the sport.
The Prince George Golf and Curling Club held an Open House event which let people take the ice, throw some rocks, and learn the rules and regulations of the sport.
The day was also held in part with the 2020 Women’s World Curling Championship as they continue to generate buzz ahead of the event.
“It’s an amazing opportunity for Prince George to have the Women’s Worlds and we are trying to sign up volunteers and come out and watch it. It’s a great way to get introduced to the sport,” shared Volunteer Terry Philips.
