Skeena-Bulkley Valley’s winning candidate announced

NORTHERN BC–Taylor Bachrach has been elected MP in Skeena-Bulkley Valley.

With 175 of 219 polls reporting, Bachrach leads with 12,769 votes, followed by the Conservatives with 10,422, the Liberals with 3,524, the Green’s with 2,435 votes, the Christian Heritage Party with 932 votes, the People’s Party of Canada with 676, Independent Danny Nunes with 141 and Independent Merv Ritchie with 133.

Bachrach succeeds outgoing NDP MP Nathan Cullen who had held the riding since 2004.
