Cougars comeback falls short against Americans
Oct 27, 2019 | 9:18 AM
The Prince George Cougars dropped their 4th in a row Saturday night as they fell 5-2 to the Tri-City Americans.
Two second period goals by the Americans proved to be the difference in the win for Tri-City.
After each team found the back of the net once in the first period, the Americans would vault to a 3-1 lead thanks to goals from Samuel Huo and Sasha Mutala.
Philip Koffer would get the Cats back to within one with just under 7 minutes to go, but Tri-City would add a pair of empty-net goals to earn the 5-2 win.
