Library closed this week

PRINCE GEORGE – The Bob Harkins branch of the library is closed to the public this week.

“We’ve closed the library so the construction team can work on the circulation re-design portion of out renovation,” explains paul Burry, Acting Chief Librarian.

It represents the first major work inside the library. Much of the work has happened outside, with steel structures going into place for a new elevator and stairwell in the new entrance, which looks down onto Canada Games Plaza.

The library will re-open Saturday, but no one should expect a brand new circulation area just yet.
