Parks and civic facilities close for the season

PRINCE GEORGE–As the kids sit anxiously in class tomorrow, ready to hit the streets to trick-or-treat, the City will begin their seasonal closures at select parks and outdoor civic facilities.

Connaught Hill and Nechako Riverside Parks will be closed to cars as of Oct.31st. Crews are also working on closing the outdoor public washrooms at Duchess and Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Parks for the season.

Masich Place will continue to be staffed and in use for a few more week, with the last sporting event scheduled for November 14th. The track will remain open to the public through November 15the before closing on November 16th. Parks and public washrooms will re-open in the spring on a weather-dependent basis.
