Crime Prevention Week kicks off

PRINCE GEORGE — Today (Nov.1) marks the beginning of Crime Prevention Week in BC.

Today’s focus is on property crime. Tips include getting to know your neighbours better, improving lightning around your home, creating a plan for when you head off on vacation and taking the proper steps to protect your parcels when shopping online.

RCMP also recommend taking the proper steps to prevent auto crime, including the most obvious one, locking your doors.
