RCMP spread awareness about senior crime prevention

PRINCE GEORGE — One of the issues the RCMP is making the public aware of through Crime Prevention Week is Seniors Safety. There are a few different areas where seniors are most vulnerable including fraud or scams, and home security. RCMP say seniors often don’t report crimes like fraud out of embarrassment but reiterate all crimes need to be reported to help the public, and that a collaborative effort is needed within the community to protect our seniors.
