PRINCE GEORGE — With hazardous winter weather conditions expected just north of town this weekend, Prince George Regional Highway Rescue is reminding motorists to exercise caution while driving through the Pine Pass.

They say that starts with making sure you’ve got your winter tires on, ensuring your cell phone is fully charged, and having an emergency kit in your trunk.

They also remind drivers to slow down when they see first responders parked on the side of the road.

Up to 40 centimetres of snow is expected through tomorrow night.
