PRINCE GEORGE — The Province has announced $10 million in provincial funding to help provide low to no cost community counselling services.

Some of that money is headed to Prince George – Carrier Sekani Family Services will receive $120,000 a year over three years and Central Interior Native Health Society will receive $90,000 a year over three years.

Carrier Sekani Family Services says part of the money will go towards mental health counselling and eventually they hope to support LGBTQ youth and adults.
