The Spruce Kings get clipped in Nanaimo

PRINCE GEORGE–Despite an early 1-0 lead, the Prince George Spruce Kings fell to the Nanaimo Clippers 2-1 last night in Nanaimo . Corey Cunningham scored the lone goal for the Kings in the first period ,and Jett Alexander made some big time saves,but the Clippers battled back .Steven Agriogianis tied the game at one in the second period ,and Travis Walton fired in the game winner in the third period. The (10-13-2-3) Spruce Kings , now 1-1 on their five-game road trip, have stops in Merritt tomorrow night , Wenatchee Monday and Penticton on Wednesday.
