Vander-Pool making a splash with region’s swimmers

VANDERHOOF – The new Vanderhoof Aquatic Centre has become like an oasis for residents living in the region.
The pool opened 10 months ago and has become a year-round source for recreation.
According to Mayor Gerry Thiessen, the pool is busy with residents from surrounding communities, giving some local businesses an economic boost. The pool is the home base for the region’s first swim club.
