Rotary Donates Big

PRINCE GEORGE – The Downtown Rotary Club has turned over a cheque for $25,000 to the Rotary Hospice House Society. It’s part of a new campaign by the Society to spruce up the facility.

“We renovated the House ten years ago because there was a need to increase the number of people that we serve,” says Donna Flood, Executive Director for the Hospice House Society. “Over that time, we’ve seen three thousand people go through our house. So really we need to care for our house. So that means there’s painting, there’s furniture replacement, there’s medical equipment replacement.”

The Society is looking for donations of $25,000 to support that cause and has one of the ten rooms in Hospice House named after your organization.

The Downtown Rotary Club says the donation was a “no-brainer.”
