PRINCE GEORGE — With Christmas right around the corner, Santa has been making stops around the world to meet with kids ahead of the holidays. But for some kids, like those living with autism, it is not as easy as just driving to the mall and getting a picture.

Autism BC hosted Quiet Santa on Saturday in Prince George. It was a chance for families with children living with autism to meet Santa without all the hustle and bustle of a more public meeting. The quieter event can mean a world of difference for families living with autism. Pictures are sent to parents free of charge in an effort to help parents relax ahead of the holidays and not break the bank.

The autism community in Prince George is very close-knit. Last year around 40 kids came for the quiet Santa to support one another, this year it was more of the same. This was the third Quiet Santa held in Prince George.
