Another successful year for Festival of Trees

PRINCE GEORGE — The Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation is celebrating another successful Festival of Trees.

CEO Judy Neiser says through the generosity of its donors, equipment that was chosen to be funded from this year’s festival is now ordered.

She says the Boston Scientific SpyGlass DS system should arrive early in New Year.

“This system is the third of its kind in the province and will focus on endoscopic diagnosis of the diseases, conditions, and cancers of the liver, gallbladder, pancreas and kindey,” Neiser says.

In addition to the SpyGlass system, she says last year’s 25th annual event was so successful that they were able to order an additional four Surgical O.R. Towers.
