The Cougars lose in OT to Portland

PRINCE GEORGE–The Prince George Cougars fell 5-4 in overtime to the Portland Winterhawks last night at CN Centre. Josh Maser, Nikita Krivokrasov, Ilijah Colina, and Vladislav Mikhalchuk scored in regulation for Prince George. Taylor Gauthier suffered the loss in net, stopping 31 of 26 shots. Clay Hanus was the hero in overtime for Portland . The Cougars (6-18-0-2) and Winterhawks (18-6-1-2) get ready for another doubleheader Saturday and Sunday in Portland .
