Skills trailer stolen out of Buckhorn Elementary grounds overnight

PRINCE GEORGE–SD57 is mourning the loss of their Canfor Skills Trailer after having it stolen from school grounds overnight.
The trailer is used to transport tools, equipment and supplies to elementary schools throughout SD57, and was stolen off of Buckhorn Elementary School’s grounds. The trailer was used as a home base for Elementary Skills Teacher Trevor Pearen to lead woodworking projects as part of hands-on learning opportunities.
Courtesy of SD57The trailer had been scheduled at Buckhorn Elementary until the end of the week. SD57 released a press release this morning saying that the trailer was mostly empty when it was stolen, however, estimate that around $1,000 worth of equipment and supplies were in the trailer at the time of the theft.
