PRINCE GEORGE — Keep those snowblowers handy.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Prince George with 15 to 20 centimetres of snow expected to fall between Monday morning and Tuesday morning as a warm front moves across the area.
“Snow will begin overnight for areas near Vanderhoof and Fort St. James, then spread into the Prince George and Quesnel areas by Monday morning and lastly into the McGregor region by midday,” reads a statement on their website. “For the Prince George region, area highways will likely see more snow than the city so travellers are advised to exercise caution.”
Some areas may see a brief break in the snow early Monday afternoon but the snow will resume late Monday afternoon and end Monday night.
