PRINCE GEORGE — More non-medical cannabis products have been given the green light to be sold in BC. Over 260 new items have been registered and the one retailers think will be the top seller, is edibles.

Other include vaporizers and cartridges, other extracts like shatter and hashish, and topicals which are cannabis-infused product intended for hair, skin, or nails.

Locally, no retailer will have any of the new products before Christmas or even before the New Year. Zagas and Grasshopper expects their slew of products to come in early January.

Acccording to Northern Health, ingesting cannabis does have less harm than smoking it. This method decreased the chance of lung flare-ups and reduces second and third-hand smoke.
