IMSS wins International Peace Award

PRINCE GEORGE — A prestigious award for a Prince George non-profit agency.

The Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society (IMSS) has won an International Peace Award for promoting diversity and multiculturalism.

IMSS beat out over 700 other Canadian non-profits for the honour at the International Peace Awards in Mississauga Ontario.

With the win, IMSS will be a peace ambassador for the year 2020.
