ckpgckEVERETT — No Christmas break rust for the Prince George Cougars Friday as the Cats scored a 4-3 win over Everett. It was the club’s third straight win, and fourth straight game earning at least one point.
The first period was key for PG, with three of their goals coming in the opening 20 minutes. Ilijah Colina would score the game-winner in the third period after the Cats squandered a 3-1 lead early. Colina was also named second star of the game.
Tyler Brennan got the start making 35 saves for his third win of the season.
PG looks to continue improving it’s 9-20-1-3 record Saturday when they meet the Royals in Victoria. Puck drop is set for 7:05pm.
