Cats lose a hard fought battle in Kelowna

KELOWNA–The Prince George Cougars head home with three points on their three game road trip , after a hard-fought 3-2 overtime loss to the Kelowna Rockets last night at Prospera Place .Kelowna’s Liam Kindree scored the game-winner. The Cougar’s Cole Moberg scored late in the first period and Connor Bowie tied the game in the second period. Taylor Gauthier was stellar between the pipes, stopping 30 shots and was named the game’s third star. The Cougars open a weekend home doubleheader Friday against the Everett Silvertips. The puck drops at 7 pm.
