2020 property assessments in the mail

PRINCE GEORGE – B.C. residents will soon be receiving their assessment notices for 2020 in the mail.

The numbers are up in Northern B.C., including in Prince George, where the value of single home dwellings has risen by five per cent.

Several northern B.C. communities saw an increase in property prices since July 1, 2019. In Prince George the average single-family home was valued at around $310,000.

Kitimat saw the largest growth in northern B.C. at 41 per cent and the largest drop in property values was Pouce Coupe at a negative 6 per cent.
