QUESNEL–RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 90-year-old man suffering from symptoms of dementia.

Quesnel RCMP say that Malcolm Earl McLaughlin was last seen on Monday, Dec. 30 at 4 p.m., and has a history of memory loss. Police also mention that leaving his home without being in contact with his family is out of character.

Malcolm McLaughlin is described as:

  • 170 lbs
  • 5’11
  • grey hair
  • brown eyes, wears glasses

McLaughlin is believed to be operating a black 2013 Chevrolet Trax, with BC license plate EN115T. The vehicle has a Canadian flag attached to the rear antenna. Police say McLaughlin could also be in the company of his Dachshund named Chico.
