Drivers beware if driving the Pine Pass

PRINCE GEORGE — Motorists beware: Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Pine Pass.

Up to 25 centimetres is expected to fall by Friday night.

“Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions,” says Environment Canada on its website.

“Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.”
